Weakley County VINELink Coverage
Tennessee calls the service VINE, meaning Victim Information and Notification Everyday. Its public portal is VINELink. The official TDOC announcement and 2021 annual report state that all 95 Tennessee county jails were already part of VINE when TDOC joined. That gives Weakley County jail events and state corrections events a place in one statewide notification network.

Weakley County VINE Custody Chain
Tennessee's county and state coverage is useful because a case may cross systems. A person can leave Weakley County Jail for a TDOC institution. Later, that person may leave TDOC for parole supervision, a county detainer, or another custodian. VINE can carry events from both county and state sources, but it must be read as a chain rather than one final label.
TDOC's statewide VINE announcement documents the county coverage that existed before state corrections joined. TDOC policy 511.03 adds a key local nuance: release-notice form CR-3626 can record a release to a Tennessee county facility under a detainer and direct the recipient to SAVIN or VINE for the next link.
That means “release” from TDOC can be true while community return is false. Read the named releasing agency, the location or destination if displayed, and the next custody record. If Weakley County becomes the receiving custodian, confirm through the Sheriff's Department. If another county receives the person, follow that agency instead.
Form CR-3626 shows the kinds of facts that can sit behind a state notice: the person's name and TDOC ID, conviction date and county, offense, release type and date, sentence expiration, and intended-residence city and state. Weakley County VINELink Search Limits
VINE is not a permanent archive. TDOC's FOIL database expressly includes former felony offenders, while VINE is designed most strongly for current custody information and prospective notice. If an already released person no longer resolves, return to the sheriff and court for a Weakley County jail event or use FOIL for TDOC history.

A narrow records request may ask for the release entry, release type, date, time, and destination if those fields are maintained. VINE is an alert layer, while the agency release sheet and court docket are the records that explain what happened.
